Welcome to Castlewood School!

I am delighted to welcome you to Castlewood School, a place where we all share a love for learning and growth.

Castlewood is a special school for children aged 5 to 16 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and need extra support with their social, emotional, and mental health. We are dedicated to helping children who need more than what mainstream schools can offer.

Since joining the Manor Hall Academy Trust in September 2020, we have embraced the values of #Everyone. Belonging, Learning and Growing. As a small school, we take pride in knowing, valuing, and supporting each child. Our strong pastoral care system is at the heart of our commitment to student wellbeing and success.

We believe that working together with students, teachers, and parents creates a supportive and inspiring environment. Our goal is for every student to reach their full potential, both academically and personally. We offer a wide range of subjects and are dedicated to giving all learners equal opportunities.

We want our pupils to leave Castlewood with recognised qualifications and the life skills they need to be independent and successful.
