As Black History Month comes to a close, we’re sharing one final recipe and riddle for families to enjoy at home-keeping the spirit of learning and celebration alive beyond the classroom.
In school, we marked the end of the month with a joyful Taste of the Caribbean event. Pupils and staff came together to enjoy a delicious spread of traditional Caribbean dishes, including Jerk Chicken and Ackee and Salt Fish.
Children sat with their classmates, sharing food and engaging in meaningful conversations. The event quickly became a vibrant social experience, bringing everyone together in a truly positive and memorable way.
It was a celebration of culture, community, and connection-leaving us all with full hearts and full tummies.
What a wonderful way to wrap up the first half-term of the academic year!
