Taking part in this programme offers several valuable benefits, including:

• Building confidence through professional‑level activities
• Strengthening future applications for college, apprenticeships or part‑time work

Pupils can also include this work experience on their CV or personal statement, helping them stand out when applying for future opportunities.

If they have not completed a virtual work‑experience placement before, we recommend registering for the “First Step” programme even those currently in key Stage 4
