(Principle 5: Language is a vital means of communication)
We use positive language to recognise and celebrate every success, helping children to express themselves and build self-esteem.

We provide a school community which supports and looks after every member.
(Principle 1: Children’s learning is understood developmentally & Principle 2: The classroom offers a safe base)
We understand that children learn at different rates and need a secure, predictable environment to flourish.

(Principle 3: The importance of nurture for the development of wellbeing)
We nurture each child’s emotional wellbeing, ensuring they feel valued and respected, whatever their starting point.

I – Individuality

We nurture and respect the individuality of our pupils, striving to provide an offer unique to them.
(Principle 1: Children’s learning is understood developmentally & Principle 4: All behaviour is communication)

R – Relationships

We promote trusting relationships between staff, families, and pupils, rooted in honesty and respect.
(Principle 6: The importance of transitions in children’s lives)
We support children through changes and transitions, building strong relationships that help them feel secure and understood.
