Each year a number of our upper school pupils are offered the chance to go away on a 3 night / 4 day residential trip supervised by members of school staff.
The trip is based around Hathersage in the Peak District National Park, where pupils sleep in a bunkhouse or a tent.
Pupils enjoy a range of activities which may include:
- a visit to the local reservoir;
- Speedwell Cavern with a boat journey below ground level;
- caving;
- a visit to Peveril Castle;
- a trip to the park in Hathersage;
- rock climbing and abseiling;
- outdoor swimming at Hathersage pool;
- riverside walk; bike ride;
- BBQ and Ice-creams!
