Red Cross Coping With Challenges Workshop 19th June 2025
On Thursday 19th June, Year 11 pupils took part in the Red Cross Coping with Challenges workshop-a resilience-focused session designed to help them manage life’s ups and downs with greater confidence and emotional strength.

Throughout the session, pupils explored the four pillars of resilience and how to apply them in real-life situations. They discovered the value of strong social connections as a key part of coping with life’s pressures.
To put their learning into practice, pupils tackled an engaging activity that challenged them to build a Duplo- Giraffe while adapting to unexpected “curve balls” thrown in along the way. They rose to the occasion with creativity and teamwork, and left the workshop not only with new skills, but with meaningful reflections and lessons they will carry forward in life.
