Pupils had an exciting hands‑on DT lesson this week using Loughborough University’s Rocket in a Box kits. Working in teams, they designed and built their own rockets before heading outside for the big launch.

After learning about how shape and force affect flight, each group carried out a countdown and sent their rocket soaring into the sky. The activity was filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and plenty of “wow” moments.
