On Tuesday 3rd December, Year 11 pupils took part in their second ‘Preparation for Adulthood’ Workshop delivered by Ciara from Choices College.
The session began with an overview of what a CV is and its importance in the job application process. Pupils learned about the different sections of a CV, including personal details, education, work experience, skills, and references. One of the critical lessons was the importance of tailoring a CV to match the job description. Pupils were taught how to highlight relevant skills and experiences that align with the job they are applying for.
