As part of our PSHE programme, on 12th May, the Robins class had a special visitor—Kerry, a volunteer from the Blue Cross animal charity. Kerry taught the children about the five welfare needs of animals, helping them understand how to care for pets properly. The pupils listened attentively as Kerry used props to explain what animals need to stay happy and healthy.
The highlight of the visit was when the children had the chance to demonstrate their kindness using the hand puppet, Dilly the Dog, showing just how caring they can be.
