Today, pupils in the Red Area have enjoyed a fantastic day filled with exciting World Book Day activities. The children have been fully engaged in exploring wonderful stories and immersing themselves in the joy of reading.
The Robins and Woodpeckers had a great time listening to Ten Delicious Teachers, while the Owls were captivated by The Twits. It was wonderful to see so many enthusiastic readers discussing their favourite parts of the stories and sharing their love of books.
One pupil was so inspired by The Twits that he has chosen to take a copy home to finish independently – a perfect example of how World Book Day helps to spark a love of reading and encourages Reading for Pleasure.
Well done to all the pupils for their enthusiasm and engagement – we love seeing the excitement that books and storytelling bring!
