As part of our Careers Programme, pupils from 7A had the exciting opportunity to take part in the “Code Your First App” workshop at the Apple Store in Birmingham. During the session, pupils were introduced to the fundamentals of app design and coding, using Apple’s tools to create their very first interactive app.

The workshop encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, giving pupils a hands-on experience of what it’s like to work in the tech industry. By learning the basics of coding and app development, pupils gained valuable insight into digital careers and the skills needed for the future workplace, and they were eager to put these new skills into practice during follow-up activities in the classroom.

This experience not only sparked curiosity but also highlighted the importance of technology in shaping modern careers. We are proud to support our pupils in exploring innovative pathways and developing confidence in digital skills.
