Abbie, one of our dedicated Year 10 pupils, embraced the fantastic opportunity of a week-long work experience placement at the award-winning Bosworth Wood Community Day Nursery. Throughout her placement, she immersed herself in the world of early childhood education, engaging with little ones from newborns to lively preschoolers. She led joyful sing-alongs, mesmerised young minds with delightful stories, and nurtured imagination through hands-on craft activities. Her enthusiasm and commitment not only enriched the children’s experiences but also helped her build confidence, develop valuable skills, and discover the profound impact of working in a nurturing environment. These invaluable experiences will undoubtedly support Abbie as she pursues her chosen career path in children’s social work.

Well done, Abbie, we are very proud of you!
