As part of our careers programme, Year 11 pupil Parise embarked on a unique work experience opportunity at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Over four insightful two-hour sessions, Parise teamed up with Nursery Nurse Retu to support young patients, using creativity and compassion to brighten their days.

From painting and music to fun games, Parise helped children momentarily escape the challenges of their illnesses-bringing smiles, laughter, and a much-needed distraction. It was a powerful experience that offered not just a glimpse into the world of pediatric care, but also the impact that kindness and creativity can have on others.
